A North American manufacturer of gas heating products with roots going back to the 1930s.
Empire Comfort Systems began as a regional manufacturer responding to the growing demand for reliable indoor gas heating in the mid-20th century. Based in Belleville, Illinois, we grew alongside the expansion of natural gas infrastructure across the United States — developing product lines that addressed the real-world challenges of installers, builders, and property owners.
Today, Empire Comfort Systems produces gas fireplaces, wall heaters, propane heaters, gas logs, and the replacement parts that keep them running. Our products are distributed across 48 contiguous states through a network of plumbing, HVAC, and hearth specialty dealers.
What has not changed since our founding: every product that leaves our facility must meet or exceed the certification standards that protect the end user. AGA, CSA, and UL certifications are prerequisites, not marketing additions.
Every Empire Comfort Systems product is tested and certified before distribution.
Applicable gas appliances carry American Gas Association certification — verifying safe combustion performance under standardized test protocols.
Products distributed in Canada and those meeting cross-border installation code requirements carry CSA Group approval, supporting dual-market specification.
Select Empire Comfort Systems products carry UL listing for electrical components and assemblies, supporting compliance with NFPA 54 and local mechanical codes.
OEM replacement parts for current and legacy Empire Comfort Systems models are stocked through authorized distributors, reducing service turnaround time.
